Personally, I love to try different styles because I feel that fashion is a lot of fun. When I am getting all dressed up and pull on my dress boots, then it's time to feel the fashion statement and match my clothes to my boots.
When I have to hay the horses or work outside, then my option is always to wear what is the most comfortable for my feet, and then tuck my pant legs inside my boots to keep my clothes from interfering with my busy chores.
Have fun, mix and match and find what is best for you. Create a new style and make it yours. You never know, someone might just start a new trend based on your fashion expertise.
